The ITLS Lab was well represented at the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) Conference this year in Philadelphia.

Courtney and Jocelyn's poster presentations on their first-year projects were well received! Courtney discussed her brief review of strategies to teach pretend play skills and Jocelyn described why behavior analyst should reevaluate our understanding of mechanisms controlling crying in the context of behavioral assessment.

ITLS Alum, Anna and Carley, also represented our previous work completed at the University of Florida. Anna presented recent research on the use of structured observations to improve the efficacy of discrete trial instruction skills. Carley presented on updated considerations when teaching manual signs to infants.

Check out our photos below. Looking forward to representing the lab again at ABAI 2025 in Washington DC.
